Please note that these packs are all well used regardless of the condition. While buckles will be functional, most of them will be rusty.
These YPA backpacks were issued from the 1970s well into the current century. They began their life as the standard issue combat pack for the Yugoslav People's Army, but became a staple for soldiers of all allegiances during the Yugoslav Wars. After the Yugoslav Wars ended they remained in use by Serbia and Montenegro until the mid-2000s.
This pack was designed for use by everyday soldiers. YPA enlisted men carried everything from spare uniform pieces to ammunition in their combat pack.
They're constructed of a durable cotton canvas material and feature several internal pockets.
Not standalone packs. You will need a belt to wear these properly.
